Board of Directors

The Minot Area Community Foundation is guided by a dedicated volunteer Board of Directors made up of community members who share a commitment to improving the quality of life in our region. Board members receive no compensation for their service; they volunteer their time, experience, and perspective because they believe in the power of local people working together to strengthen their communities. Together, our board provides thoughtful leadership and oversight, helps identify local needs and opportunities, and ensures MACF remains responsive to the people and communities of northwestern North Dakota.

Community Investment Advisors

Because the Minot Area Community Foundation grants year-round, the Community Investment Advisors meet regularly to review discretionary grants and make recommendations to the Board of Directors. These community-minded volunteers are provided with education and are involved in the assessment of potential projects, participate in brainstorming and project planning, and provide input on emerging needs in our community and region.

Through informed leadership and proactive community investments, the Minot Area Community Foundation strives to enhance the quality of life in our community of communities — inspiring those who live here to give here.

A position as a Community Investment Advisor is a true advisory position. CIAs have no financial interest or control of the Minot Area Community Foundation assets.
